What is Bank to School?
Bank to School is an arcenciel initiative that supports children whose families are unable to cover tuition and essential school costs.
The initiative is rooted in arcenciel's long-standing work with children, young people, and families. Through its social programmes, youth centres, Cirquenciel, specialised nursery services, and community outreach, arcenciel's teams were already encountering families for whom education had become increasingly unaffordable.
Bank to School emerged naturally from a need that arcenciel had already identified through years of fieldwork and holistic support to families.

Donations go directly to a child's school
Tuition is paid straight to the school. Families do not receive the money, helping ensure every donation is used for its intended purpose.
Support is based on real need
No random selection. arcenciel's field team meets families, assesses each situation in person, and identifies the children facing the greatest barriers to education.
A track record built over time
In 2019, arcenciel supported 269 students across 99 schools. The first Bank to School campaign in 2020 helped 516 students across 160 schools. Last year, we supported 180 students across 71 schools.
Every child is treated equally
One clear principle has guided Bank to School from the start: no child should be excluded because of their religion, region, nationality, or background.
